Hi. I am fairly new to make and Makefiles, and I am not well informed of best practices / guidelines. My question is, do you add your test target to install? So, that when users run make, besides installing the program, tests also run.

Or do you keep them separated? Inside the makefile, they are of course separate targets, what I am asking is whether you think it is a good idea to add the test target as a depedency in install.
