Also: ulimit -u 16; ulimit -f 4000; ulimit -t 20. Also the webserver reads the stdout from the program byte-per-byte and shuts it down if the number of output bytes exceeds a certain count. The webserver also breaks the program after a timeout has passed.

I wonder if anyone has much experience with C++11 curly brace initialization? The line 38 at pastie.org/8710045 doesn't compile. g++ notes that it doesn't match the default constructor, nor the move constructor, but no constructors have been explicitly defined?

I think you can get away with some very limited inheritance but I'm not sure

the wrong kind of inheritance can certainly prevent you from being Standard-layout

@rightfold Thanks for asking. Apparently I didn't add the iptables command to my installer script, so the last time I reinstalled the machine it was not set. (which is 4 months) dns was still disabled but internet access by ip was still possible. (damn..)
