@thecoshman Lemme try to skim over my list... Tomorrow morning I have a meeting in which it will be decided whether I need to move this week. I fear I will have to. (And I am not a single bachelor, but have quite some household to move.) Beginning on June, 2nd, I will have to give a 3 day-seminar for which I have not yet done much. Then is the Unconference. Then, beginning on June, 10th, I have yet another seminar, for which I will not have had any time either.

And that's discounting all the common madness like ex-wives, sick kids, stress at my job, the tenant's fight and whatnot berates me every day.... Do you see my problem with the date you guys picked?

SO is a large FAQ system whereas my project is more akin to a Q&A but gets mixed in a multi-purpose environment. So maybe I will solve issues that have nothing to do with SO at the end.

Redis is a key-value store that sits entirely in RAM and persists to the disk. Redis will at worst lose the last 5 minutes of work but it's worth the performance gain

@thecoshman BtrFS allows to perform incremental backups really nicely, by taking snapshots, and sending the deltas over the wire. Although you have to setup all the scripts yourself.
