@MarcoA. That's just re-stating its definition. Doesn't really mean or add much. Somehow reminds me of a line a former coworker used to use sometimes: "I'm not really asking for much. I just want you to move that mountain one inch to the left. Only one inch! How hard can that be?"

What I meant is, anyway, that even with the definition C/d, you can't really have those two numbers precisely expressed (to form pi) on a fraction written on a piece of paper

@MarcoA. You certainly can't do much based on a measurement, if that's what you mean. Even if we assume some Super Symmetric String Theory is correct, and current estimates of the size of a string are right, and you measure to that level of accuracy, you're still only getting around 53 decimal digits (or so).
