My boss is forcing me to add a non-sense dependency between projects to our codebase because it's the quick way of "fixing" the problem (there are at least 2 cleaner ways that would take just a couple hours longer), because "it's temporary and in six months or so we will clean it up"

this is exactly the kind of approach that after several years leads to a big horrible mess

and in six months there will be "higher priorities"
