you want to play a lot of deathmatch and after a while you want to alternate between normal deathmatch and headshot-only deathmatch

1v1 arenas are great at improving your spatial awareness, getting a feel for where your enemy is going to come from and improving your reflexes

finally there are maps like aim_botz which are made especially for training your accuracy

there are also more exotic training things like kz maps which improve your movement

when you're good at kz maps you're good at jumping around and reaching spots other players cannot

surf mode also improves your movement

I spent ~2 months away from valve's matchmaking training, when I came back I flew through ranks (I started at my ex-rank) and throughout I was just amazed at how it seemed everyone was playing with controllers

or rather like my mom playing with a controller

M4A4 takes two bullets to the head for a kill, try AK47 and one-tap people

P90 is an SMG so if you're playing in DM or casual it takes extra effort to kill opponents because SMGs have low armor penetration

you have less bullets so you can't spray like crazy like you can with the M4A4 but it has other advantages

1) it doesn't spawn tracers (bullet trails) so people can't see where you're shooting from if you shoot from behind a smoke

on CEVO servers if a player abandons before half time, the next half won't start until someone joins or the team missing a player unanimously votes to start

if they don't vote you're stuck waiting for someone to join

those joining a team losing like 13-2 are the real MVPs :P
