@DonLarynx C++ has a lot of really serious problems, especially for (but certainly not limited to) anybody writing tools that want to deal with its source code.

@DonLarynx There's many ways it goes terrible and even worse than using plain c idioms. But most of the time c++ is going to be more useful than bad.

@DonLarynx Yes, if you know what you're doing, you can do a lot without major problems. Even if you don't know everything about what you're doing but follow some reasonable rules of thumb semi-carefully, you can get by pretty well.
