Perhaps one other possibility (though it doesn't look like the tools are really built to handle it well): instead of an auto-bin bot, perhaps a bot to automatically give write permission to new SO users when they hit, say, 200 rep. Then we can still go back and remove write access from anybody who causes a problem.

Alright, here's my take on the whole issue: the Lounge should be as noob-friendly as possible. We're not a fucking ivory tower. Sure, sometimes we get a few trolls, but they're manageable through binning, flaming and the occasional flag for moderator. @LucDanton Also, the Elitism thing wasn't a quip. I meant that. Either we are the Elite in our room, or the room is for everyone who want to be here. If people don't like to be called elitist, they shouldn't behave as such.
