the server team is building some java rest services for our websites. we cant them to pass even the most basic rest-api tests, like 405, 400, etc

the convoluted way you have to handle things is priceless

took them a couple weeks to figure out how to "unwrap" an object after a GET call. Everything was coming back like { "employee": {...} }

Okay, here is my best guess / analysis.

I think that it has preset ML compilations for each chipset available. As most mobile devices are now using rather large instruction sets it is easier to pigeonhole them. For example, most Android devices run on ARM. Almost all the mobile devices have a kernel which runs on C so as long as the ML compiled plays nice with the exact chipset and can be interpreted by the device's kernel, the code should work. All that is left is to make sure that only the subset of instructions are used.
