dude when I woke up and was able to eat after my appendectomy, hospital food was the BEST FOOD EVER

I wasn't able to eat for awhile 'cause of the anesthesia. Like, I had to struggle to get a packet of saltine crackers down so they could give me the good drugs

actually, they didn't because it was a semi-emergency. I sorta self-diagnosed appendicitis and drove myself to the doctor, then the hospital. I was 1-3 hours away from the appendix bursting and killing me/putting me in the hospital for 3 months
