@MarkO'Sullivan Fixed it using try-with-resources inside the doInBackground. Turns out using any Realm instance inside the doInBackground (without a try/catch or try-with-resources) results in the Realm access from incorrect thread error

There is a beautiful feature I saw on an amazing app called dojo where they have a recyclerview and when you swipe it has something close to like a navigation drawer. I just want to find out how exactly they did that.Maybe someone can give some insight into how to achieve the same.

@GotaloveCode or you can go with plain ListView and gesture recognizer on top to expand it

recycler isn't best option always. If you have fixed list (7 items here) it's sometimes better to go with LinearLayout

because you will always have static references to views and this is very handy to animate or modify them then

@DimaRostopira am not sure any of those libraries quite fit that. The listview/recyclerview already uses the MultipleViewTypesAdapter that part I understand and already managed to replicate but the list of days that appear when you swipe right that appear and are also bound to the list of events per day that part has me buffled.
