Hey. I really need help here. No idea for me and any of my colleagues what to check.
Situation: there is a function db_query which executes SQL query. After query execution, there is a few seconds and in database something creates a duplicate of SQL query. (Only stuff going on with INSERTS). Last time of this happening, we checked - 6 seconds after first insert, there is seconds insert. Any suggestions what to check?
I am using pg_connect database connection in PHP.
In Stack Overflow chat, I just see flags in the Python chat room where one user was swearing and then someone flagged. But after the post is removed, the flag is still shown after the message
but except this every time flag disappear with the deletion of the message
Yes, INSERT ... ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE. For example:
INSERT INTO `usage`
(`thing_id`, `times_used`, `first_time_used`)
VALUES
(4815162342, 1, NOW())
ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE
`times_used` = `times_used` + 1
