FC3 has no quicktime events, so basing a boss fight around that is stupid because it's not testing your skill with the core gameplay.

FC3's strength is the openness and the ability to do the same thing in multiple ways. I cleared encampments by being super sneaky, but Cat goes at it with a shotgun.

So, to reflect that, bosses should at least have multiple ways to defeat them.
