That reminds me - I have to check my bank. On Friday, I shopped at Tesco and the POS-of-shit crashed just after I had removed my card. The last thing I saw on the chip & PIN display was 'Transaction complete, remove card'. The store manager would not let me leave with my goods until I had paid again at another till. I was not happy. If I've paid twice, I will be even angrier.

@MartinJames I don't think that it's entirely unreasonable for that manager. It's a lot easier for you to claim the money back from your bank or Tesco than it would be for him to find you if it turned out it didn't go through the first time.
