Lounge, what do you think about this GSL issue - github.com/Microsoft/GSL/issues/171 ? I wholeheartedly agree that sizes should be signed, but since the std. lib already uses size_t, signed size would produce a lot of casts to suppress compiler warnings.

@Abyx Yes. stdlib uses size_t everywhere, but you don't use unsigned int everywhere, so when your ints compare to the stdlib's sizes, you do a static_cast

It's just an int32_t on x86 and int64_t on x86_64
