No effect on expressivity obviously (LeftOr(def) == OnLeft(id, def) and OnLeft(f).LeftOr(def) == OnLeft(f, def)), and if you expect a lot of OnLeft(f, def) calls I can see how you’d prefer that.

@rightføld Perl has similar 'phrasing', it's more 'English' like apparently. Both make sense to me, "If I am hunger, I'll eat, else I'll get a drink", "I'll eat, if I'm hungry, else I'll get a drink".

It was either this, or a giant chunk of if/else if statements.

@LucDanton OnLeft is not a bind on left, it's a map. So it doesn't necessarily return another Either.

MakeEither is really suspect though, i.e. constructing two values to discard one on the spot. I don’t have a good alternative.
