Imagine 16 TB RAM. You could store everything in RAM and the only slow I/O would be during booting.

Just load the entire HDD into RAM and back-up often.

You cannot address that much memory on a 64-bits machine.

@dreamlax With artefacts and dynamic compression I find music tiring to listen to. There is a constant jarring/whining (however softly) going on in the background. It is hard to 'consciously' hear (because of psycho acoustics) but you'll notice when it's gone
