@jaggedSpire Keep a collection of answers that have uncapped downvotes. And keep track of how much they change your rep. That way if your rep ever gets away from mod 5 = 0, you can delete/undelete a combination of them to set it back.

Sure you'll piss off the people who downvoted them, but that's their problem. :)

You don't need something that many upvotes. Just something that happens to push up to the repcap on that day (in combination with upvotes on other posts)

Actually it won't work at all for anything with a score of 3 or more since you keep the rep if the post is 3 months old and has a score of 3.

The last time I clicked my rep was a complete accident when I was checking my messages and I moused over the rep with the message dropdown open, and now I go around my rep notification like it's a bomb.
