@CindyMeister my horse's back hooves were grown up 4 cm into the soles of her feet. She was supposed to have been trimmed twice in the past 10 weeks. I'm disgusted. She will feel so much better now we have a good farrier. She must've been in pain. She also has an injured shoulder from being double barreled. ugh I feel so bad as her carer. :'(

@Dragonrage yep I find it so hard to find a dark theme for stack overflow that I can work with. All my IDEs use dark themes wherever possible

@Dragonrage the mod queue is now packaged into little boxes and the content of the flag is viewable from within that box- you can click on it and go to the page in situ, but I found to make it viewable I couldn't distinguish if posts were deleted. I used a lot of sepia. I find the black too harsh

@Lewis I know I'm being a little dictatorial, it's just we've had SO much drama and I'm over it. We've all done up hill and down dale over things and I'm not allowing people to try and get people worked up over things that really are not that important. As a community we have more important issues to face. IMO. Like moderation tools, ways to curate the quality of the content. Not how the site makes a living - after all, if it's not profitable- this site won't be lasting...

I mean we have gotten to a point where the network told us, they're not taking feedback from the meta community on board nearly as much as we (as a community) would have thought they were. So there comes a point for us, as a community, to drive our energies into things that will benefit us as a community and hopefully achieve goals that we really do want as a group. Does that make sense? I've lobbied hard like the rest of us, but I also know when we need to change tack

oh and for the record. I only moved the comments to chat after two flags on the post re comments. I rarely make that call without a flag.

I am usually prompted by flags. I figure I don't need to go looking for trouble, but my job is to fix it when other people see it as a problem and I can see their point.

I love how my gold discussion badge is showing on the closure to that post! It's more of an achievement than the diamond and thank you to @rene's help in getting that at the end. He helped choose questions for me to answer. He was my role model as a gold badger in the discussion tag before me.

@CindyMeister It's taken me a while to find a good farrier since we moved. I'm so happy with this one. His wife works with him if he needs extra help. They are the first people to manage to trim her back feet! When I first got her you couldn't touch her, let alone pick up her feet. It took many months to train her to pick up her front feet and hold them up for me. A lot of getting her to let me touch the leg and praise, then to actually give me the foot and not attempting to hold it up.

do you shoe or barefoot trim?

interestingly - this mare I mention. I wormed them today and she was like a lamb. Honestly - she was the easiest of all of them to worm. I can't help seeing the link between her feet and calm
