@Cerbrus I moved half my herd today back with the rest of the herd (so 10 in total) it was magic watching them catch up. Tomorrow some will be taken to a separate paddock, but they can still see each other and talk. It was interesting. My yearling was so worried. She could see the horses up ahead, but go spooked and would not move. Finally- after some calling out - she realised who they were and went ahead. I walked into the gate leading two horses and we were swamped by the entire herd!

Ok, here you go:
500g chicken cut in strips, one red pepper, two handful of tomatoes, 400ml cream, two table spoons creamed cheese (ideall with herbs and stuff) and 500g pasta.
Cook the pasta according to instructions.
Get the chicken in a pan and cooking through. Throw sliced tomatoes, sliced pepper and cream in, get to a boil. Add the creamed cheese and stir well. If you want your sauce a little thicker, you can mix very little water and corn starch in a small bowl and stir that in (mixing with water first helps it to distribute). @Gimby

Or if you want something fresher: Make some Couscous accoring to instructions (usually one part couscous, one part water, get the water cooking, pour over the couscous and let sit). Cut some tomatoes, red pepper and spring onions while the couscous soaks. When the water is all soaked up, throw your cut stuff in there, add salt/pepper and get some lemon juice over it.

@YvetteColomb that recipe was traditionally done with rice (just sub out water with chicken - or traditionally fish or rabbit - stock for cooking rice & peppers together)

rabbit = Northern Spain, fish/seafood = Southern Spain

@NickA we don't eat horse meat here - it is used in pet food and we do export it. Fun fact I bought a pregnant horse from a horse meat dealer (we call them doggers - as they are usually used in dog food). Her baby is now 1 yo and doing well. So glad no one ate them

You choose your playstyle. You can either play a humane benevolent colony with high morals, or you can capture raiders, harvest their organs, butcher their corpses, make hats out of their skin.

The idea being that the Rim Worlds are a harsh, lawless place, and you do whatever you need to do to survive.

It's the kind of game you open up at 7PM after a day of work, play an hour, and suddenly there's light out of the window and birds are singing and it's 6AM and you need to get to work in 2 hours.

I've ~400 hours on it. Know people with over 10k hours on it.

Well, you can usually get away with just XML for RimWorld, but C# for the more "alter behavior of existing things" mods.

@Tschallacka I can imagine. I think it's absolutely insane how massive the common ground is for some things. When you imagine that there are only a few occasions where some energy cables don't work together or a machine does not accept something a similar machine would have accepted too in a modpack with 10+ different technic related mods, it's insane.

And everything somehow works with NEI and JEI, etc.

@geisterfurz007 Yea, nei offers a proper api and jei copies that one I believe. Then also if modders follow proper procedures everything is readable form registries and such. And nei/jei only need to work clientside, which makes stuff so much easier.

and with the energy, it's really hard, because some mods offer apis, other's don't. some offer documentation, other's don't. take for example thaumcraft, has a nice api, but documentation? nah. figure it out is the motto. So you basically have to decompile tc(which is easy because he supplies the deobf jar) to see how he intends the api.
