You just gotta find a balance between what you earn, what you need to earn, what you must spend, and the stuff you want to spend on, and the stuff you can spend on
I've had decent success in the past at just walking up to mom&pop stores and offering to make a website/app/poster/setup CCTVs and whatnot for a bit of extra cash
yeah but small stores here are groceries - veggies - etc stores. they don't have the time to spend teching themselves up nor their target client is technicized enough to do so.
Depends on the site. Most stores are okay with a landing page, for which I get a free HTML template and put it up somewhere. For stores that want to post periodic updates, I'll usually add WP just because it's super easy for non-tech people to use

i literally told an old lady that had a small bar that she was being charged by her electrical provider the same amount that a 200m2 store was ( 120Kw/h of line strength), but that she was only using 15khw. didn't even flicker.
showed here the real numbers, even the supermarket store ones.
@Code-Apprentice I've mostly done this with multiple shops in a town, so I usually ask them all to chip in $50/year for hosting and get a decent sized VPS for the town/locality
again, i couldn't do that raghav due to work laws, my company already offers the same services i'm willing to offer at lower rates outside work hours. not legal here.
