but apparently there's a prepackaged binary that you can download through a repo

just did that and that seems to work

tho I ran it manually

Bitcoin Core's own wallet will download the entire blockchain

Thin clients use an online bitcoind node to look up transaction and address info, instead of downloading it locally

You can send/receive/sign/whatever without any issues in either

Question for any bloggers out there: How do you manage code examples? Do you provide complete, self-contained code in the blog article itself? Do you have GH repos with the example code? If so, do you have one repo per arrive or more than one example in a single repo with several repos for organization or all examples in one repo?

How large of examples do you have? Are they complete android projects? Or just the relevant snippets from an app?

Just snippets, probably 20 lines at most

I haven't written anything in ages though, so there might be better ways to do it
