@TooFatManNoNeck as ntohl mentioned, it is a hack, the behavior of the null character in some low level apis would terminate the string, because the strings get converted from sane level storage to null-terminated storage

using Console.Write, you make use of this low api and therefor it has the effect you tried to make

however, it is a clever solution, a solution that works because of the environment/implementation detail
