Man pushes down 588N. Elevator pushes up 720N. Difference is positive (up) 132N. If the persons's mas is 60kg, then the net acceleration is upwards, 2.2 m/s/s

they throw you off by asking the acceleration of the elevator, rather than the acceleration of the man. Don't think of it as an elevator, just think of it as an upward force. Seperating it conceptually helps a lot.

@Chimera Label, Textbox etc. are all derived from Control, so there's no way to tell them. You could check the type and then extract the value from the Text property after casting the object.
