@AnnZen yes, that is a "feature". If you make a habit to always have some text with the url, you should be fine. Something like "See this image: [link to image]" will work.

@Dharman That's not the sort of badges I was speaking of. I mean I have the Tenacious badge.. and on occasion I have only 5 or even only 4 zero-scored accepted answers. But I still keep my badge.. until I merge my account with a newer one and it notices I only have 4 zero-scored accepted answers, and I lose the Tenacious badge.

e.g. if you visit on 100 consecutive days you earn a badge but then you can not visit the next and you won't lose the badge

same for badges about unanswered questions or 0-score accepted answers and more than 25% or whatever it is of your total answers

Other than a few users that have very low numbers of hammers, it seems like reversal rates are very low, 1-2%.

@Vega It implies there might be some affiliation. However, it's also possible that there is no affiliation and there's no cause for concern. In such situations, unless there's evidence that there is affiliation, we should assume good faith. OTOH, it's not unreasonable to leave a comment suggesting that the user might want to review the self-promotion guidelines and meta posts. I've done so on that answer.

Note that I didn't look into it all that hard, so could have easily missed evidence of affiliation.

Only in that NAA flags age away, but the mechanic is not like R/A or spam in that 6 NAA flags won't delete an answer.

If you really, really, feel strongly, you can ask for deletion votes or you can try to track down the Low Quality Post review task and ask for a review

its simply asking convert word to pdf

people have suggested me to use html to pdf which seems simpler but it is cumbursome

if a client changes the word doc then the html has to be rewritten. It's always better to get docx to pdf

I 'm using python for filling the template and c# for converting to pdf due to some issues with python packages to save as pdf

If you're looking for some questions to evaluate for close-votes, we have a relatively large backlog of cv-pls requests that it would be helpful for some people to go through. It's not critical yet, but the backlog is a bit higher than we'd like, and contains a number of requests which are a bit older than we'd like.

A beginner could legitimately think that having out-dented code results in that code always running, and before the elif block, and after the if block, if it runs. The post author specifically mentioned that he "looked for indentation errors."
For a future visitor, it can help them resolve a "puzzling syntax error" and help them understand that you can't put code between an if and an elif block.

@AnnZen Normally a month doesn't come with a date. So I'd assume they mean either May (5/2020) or January (1/2020). The month of 5/1/2020 seems strange. Also, it's not really a good way to write May 1st, since most of the world uses dd/mm/yyyy

@noɥʇʎԀʎzɐɹƆ It's fine to create a canonical, but that's usually done after consultation with other Subject Mater Experts (SME) (e.g. on Meta or in the Python room), first to see if others feel it's a good idea, then to get input on what they feel should be in it. The canonical question and answer is commonly crafted in conjunction with other SMEs, so it covers what multiple people feel is appropriate.

IMO, it was inappropriate to try to saddle this on some random user's post that was already downvoted to a score of -7, for being a typo. At an absolute minimum you needed to include edit comments that explained why you were unilaterally making substantial changes to the posts. Edit comments exist so that you can communicate such intentions to people who look at the post later, including both other users and the author of the posts.

If a Python canonical Q&A for obvious indentation problems is something that you feel would be beneficial, please begin the process of creating one, but don't just head of and do so on a whim.
