Well people would just game it. So if you could track the gaming of it to people, they could lose that ability. So an exact number doesn't matter too much unless it was tied to tracking the gamers

the Answer from Brad Larson is nice. I would simply freeze the question, versus triggering low quality flags. And I would up the Close Vote count-per-day allowed to a ton more for those that earn that right, however that is decided. The close voters are simply not equipped to deal

well I've only been here for two days and in that time, we thought closey died, in fact a eulogy was written for closey and one accolades in poetry circles.. then we discovered closey was on life support... but prior to this I had words with closey and revealed I preferred smokey, so being melo dramatic (and generally with nothing better to do at that time than talk to bots) I connected my declaration of love for smokey as causing closey's illness

on a more sensible note.. why is it that questions with accepted answers show up as unanswered in some queries? caching?

not sure. There are two data sets. One live, one SEDE, but a good SEDE person (there are many here) could answer that

and half the top comments of that query are residue from the one I crafted it from. So right now it is only your top 1 tag. But just change the query. You can see what was remmed out or tweaked

or look at the original query (url at the top of it)

I don't even do the weighted thing at all. My strategy is simple. Recent but not too recent (that is SEDE data afterall). From somewhat seasoned rep OPs. And your tag. But you can go top 3 or 5 tags, whatever
