You can request an hour, but only if you have a justifiable reason for it (like longer travel time to get food) and its not counted as work time, so you have to work longer if you do that
Wow. OK. My dad worked for a company based in Stuttgart and when he visited everyone had 2 hours worth of breaks and lunch per day in a 9 hour work day.
