@NathanOliver so much this. In a few days it becomes legal in my state to conceal a gun within city limits, without a CCW, which should have happened years ago IMHO
@QPaysTaxes Guns being so restricted in germany have made them hideously expensive on the black market, which means that most criminals can't afford one.
Thats exactly what we hope to achieve. If most people can't get a gun, criminals can't afford one either, and that means that less of them will use them.
For instance, less then 2% of robberies here are done with a gun
@Undo This is true, I used to do a little riflery at summer camp. My gf wants to go to the gun range at some point. There is only one gun range left in NYC and you have to jump through hoops just to get a background check to do a training course
I find one of the most ironic parts of gun control in America, is the fact that most of those who support it, don't want to secure the border(For the record, I am against securing the border)
the vast majority of robbers will book it when they're called out, and the ones that don't have at best a knife and will slowly book it when called out
@Magisch I have to assume the other guy has a knife, and I have to assume he's probably bigger and faster and stronger than me and he's probably on drugs.
@Magisch it's true. My parents once walked in at the end of a robbery, and the guy jumped off the 2nd floor to bolt with the bike he stole from the patio.
