Hey have you guys seen what the TheWanderer and I have been up to lately? Now we're waiting for Nathan to have a bit of time to finish the initial implementation of the backend.
I'm using GreenRobot's EventBus version 3.0. And there's a section on the docs which says that we can post sticky events, and to receive those events we have to subscribe like this:
@Subscribe(sticky = true, threadMode = ThreadMode.MAIN)
public void onEvent(MessageEvent event) {
// Do someth...
I don't actually have a good reason. I'm just giving you a hard time and recalling a cringe worthy meeting where a guy wanted to "sell" me some event bus technology that didn't have a valid use case in my app

Let's say I have a Recyclerview with a custom adapter. And the items are some cardviews with a imageview inside of it, and an action called "take picture". I want to open the camera app once I click the action, and I want to display the picture on the imageview
1. Start Activity, pass index/id of the Image for the Image View to the Camera activity. 2. Take picture, return back to calling activity with picture and index 3. Update data source 4. Notify adapter data set changed
