Depends on what you need

Sometimes getting the last known location is enough

but if you need to update the marker from time to time, better use the "onLocation" with a fast interval (10 seconds, or less)

When I move it's pretty inaccurate

And it doesn't update each second

Setting anything below 1000ms won't have an effect I guess. On most devices I tested the fastest update speed was one second
