one issue is that i can't create directories inside the html. I am logged in with the user who is member of group developer as a secondary group

Let us suppose I wanted to do a sql query involving tables 1 and 2. I want to retrieve all rows from table 1 that share values in field X with field Y in table 2. Is the correct course of action running a left outer join with table 1 being the left table?

While Redis works and solves all three properties of the critical section problem, that solution comes at a cost. We have to open a new connection for each blocking read, there's no multiplexing of blocking reads unfortunately.

so I have this table. One of the columns contains values of data type int. some of them are negative numbers but most are positive. I want to know what the sum is.

The number has changed. It got bigger as should be expected. However I don't think this discrepancy is something to panic over.

then make a small temporary table

with a single column

and fill in few rows in it

and then make the SELECT on that table

if the result of that query is what you expected, then run the same query on your real table

I already tested it. The discrepancy I speak of refers to the differences between my database's sum and the sum reported by Open Secrets

also, that "small discrepancy" can become quite significant if you do something like:

SELECT
    SUM(column) AS total,
    YEAR(some_time_row) AS year
FROM table
WHERE column > 0
GROUP BY YEAR(some_time_row)

or i you decide to group by year and month

the smaller the interval, the more significant will the discrepancy be

also, SQL queries are basically math ... precision matters

everybody else's totals do match though. I think that they are the ones making the mistake.

I think the odds are against me. Even though my education is strong I believe the other applicants are much stronger. So I decided to go all out on this paper.

Oh no. That is not my goal. The paper I submit will be tested on the basis of analytical abilities as well as writing skills. The fact that I built a database all on my own and used it is meant to set me apart from the other applicants. I do not think ANY of them know SQL. I know for certain they will forgive small discrepancies in my database.

The thing is I don't have the same resources as the other applicants. The SQL database is meant to compensate. Otherwise writing a paper is just impossible.

they are technically fixed size, the resize is a copy, not the original increased in capacity

Mercer's behavior as far as where he donates his money changes over time

The organizations he donates his money to have agendas

Some organizations he donates to have huge portions of their money coming only from Mercer

So the actions of a organization that is 90% Mercer money really represents Mercer better than some others do

on the other hand some other organizations receive TONS of money from Mercer. Even though their total percentage of money from Mercer they are composed of is less they still get a lot of money.

Who gets the money? How dependent on Mercer are they? How much money does Mercer give them? What do they do with that money? And how does this all change over time? That is what I need to graph.

Ah I don't know of any specific tools out there it would also depend on the format of your data. You could make something that would give you all the information you need and then from there you could make pie charts, etc.. easier.
