@CatPlusPlus that's sort of what I was getting at, whilst I think there is a deadline by which voting will automatically start on an automatically selected proposal, it's stupid, as you still have to wait for that person to cast a vote any way. You may as well (except the rules don't allow it) just wait for them to propose what they want to propose, or properly handle players being absent.

FWIW, at the time Jefffrey wanted a positive default, and I wanted a negative default. We would need an agreement on that as well.

There are also immutable rules with "only if the vote is unanimous among the eligible voters" which you can't fix without making people non-eligible voters. Which you can't.
