unfortunately, I don't even have that so I have to make do with this

the range that is incorporated into the furniture (that was here when I arrived) doesn't work properly

so the only way is to take it all out and buy a new range

and I'm not sure the apartment owner would agree for me to do it

then again, he might agree; I could ask for a discount on the next rent payment because the range would stay here for the next tenants

back when I was on the gamedev chat it was time to choose room owners and the owners were chosen based on the # of messages posted and activity

I was not considered even though I had ~70% more messages than the guy behind me and was obviously most active

I don't think they did it because I was considered some sort of innocent friendly soul

I don't remember you being there, but I only joined a year ago

which sort of says a lot about how active I was

I took everyone out @ message count in a few months

but hey, you may still corrupt me, different rooms have different standards

there it was more like "let's be friends with everyone and as professional as possible"
