And it's mostly because people tend to take sex too fucking seriously; if everybody agreed that it's just normal to be attracted to more than one person and that might be mutual (or just want to have sex with someone else FWIW), there would be less relationship problems.

@Griwes actually, it's like three years is too short, mostly because of the ambitious all-encompassing changes like move semantics or concepts. Note that move semantics took "forever" to finally arrive in c++0x -oh oops, make that c++11 and concepts don't look there yet, at all.

By making the cadence much lighter, it's easier to address the little paper cuts and - most importantly - stay in touch on the major themes, that might take 3 or 4 "iterations" to land
