@thecoshman The one overarching requirement for the diagnosis of mental disorders is that it interferes with leading a normal life. Being depressed does that: you don't want to talk to people, to see people, to leave the house, to work, to eat, to drink, etc. Not wanting sex doesn't interfere with that (as opposed to wanting but not having).
