however, you obviously need a renderer.

now, I don't mean the VST host or stuff, I mean the synthesizer or VST itself

because any real DAW can host VSTs

top quality stuff there.

I actually still use their piano synthesizer for practicing :v, haven't found anything better for free.

but if you want more, say, orchestral parts or really weird sounds, then well, go for a hunt.

or prepare to spend a few buckets of bucks
