what the heck... my O(1) space overhead quicksort was designed to do a few more swaps and a lot more comparisons as a sacrifice. Turns out it uses ~30% more swaps, and 20% fewer comparisons. (It is immensly slower, which is expected)

I've been largely a C embedded developer with a little bit of experience writing Windows Apps in VB6, C# and MFC in C. alright, that one test was a fluke, my O(1) overhead quicksort variant uses 2x as many comparisons, 50% more swaps, but while sorting ints it seems to be ever so slightly faster than my normal quicksort baseline.
