sometimes I regret getting a cat when he's bugging tf outta me, but then when were getting cuddly and he's not being annoying it's like damn how could I even think of regretting getting this lil guy
toddlers are tough to reason with too "I want candy", "no it's too close to bedtime", "why?", "you'll stay up and not sleep", "why?", "because sugar keeps you up", "why?", "that's just how it works, no candy!!", "I want candy"
for me its usually just momentary like "ugh I'm so frustrated right now why did I do this to myself" lol but it lasts for like 5 seconds until I'm liek aww youre so cute

I can't imagine how rough it must be to be a single parent

basically if youre doing a good job, you'd be fulfilling your kids needs and your work and putting yourself on the wayside, or at least thats how I imagine it woudl go most of the time
being raised in a small community where you had like 2 real parents, and then a bunch of surrogate parents with their own kids etc seems kind of like the ideal
