hi all been stuck with a problem for days so hoping someone here can help, I was given some XML from a big energy company which is in the format of a SOAP request and I was told to write something to consume the request and send back a response, but the problem is I've written something that I expect to have worked and it didn't, so now I'm stumped. I posted the question on SO but having googled the hell out of soap I can many of the questions never get a response so asking here to see if anyone is able to help:

Pretty sure .NET has a feature explicitely for handling SOAP. If you can get a link to the actual reference (endpoint of the online SOAP service), .NET can generate the class for you.

You should only manuially handle them if you need to call .SaveChanges on multiple things consequetivly.
