Look up 'sticky tabs'. I haven't done that in Xamarin Forms, but it's the common term for it.

Both. I want to register types (but not now, for future, I will need) now I need to retrieve a list of configuration setting from the data store

Uh I think you would either have to reference a specific <libraryName>.config or something

What I'm doing now is that I'm calling Init() of the ConfigurationManager in the constructor of the method that "I'm sure will be called first" or I will call it in all constructors since ConfigurationManager is singleton

We essentially created our own ConfigurationManager

Which fills up an instance of our 'config type' when it's first used

Based on values in the actual application's config, prefixed with the library name

here's a gist of it

So you'd just reference Config.Manager.Valuesand the values would be loaded from the application config, and anything prefixed with Framework would be read as a setting for Framework, which is our class library that this is from

@c0dem0nkey in Android, this will fall more likely as a ViewPager but since you're in XF, I'm not sure if TabbedPage would work without conflict.

Or a SegmentedControl perhaps?

I have a class library with a class A that injects type B in its constructor.
if this class library is used by a web API project, and the class A is injected in controller C, will be the dependencies hierarchy be resolved in the class library and the web API project> the B type is resolved?

Got a new .Net Core 3.1 / MVC app I've been working on for a month. All is ok... I see a load of nuget packages have their 5.0 version available... I do update - all fail due to compatibility with the project... I then look at updating separately. Start with identity - now entire project is broken (UI does not exist in the namespace aspnetcore.identity)...

... Is there a guide or best practice to follow when upgrading? I don't want to stay on old versions but I feel like I'm just guessing and praying all stuff carries on working :(
