The thing about news sites is that content is largely static, and infrequently updated - if you are going to do a custom solution anyways, you want:

1. A template that lets you split up article content vs. related articles/advertisment portions of the page
2. Article content is effectively static - once generated, you can cache it forever. Related articles should be updated when new articles are added to the same category as the current article, or to breaking news
3. Advertisements are also largely static - once a campaign starts, the ad fragment can be cached, and stitched in based on IP…

This means you actually don't need a very beefy db, just a good caching system, and a small amount of server resources to do the stitching

In the one I'm building, all the ad/related article updates are calculated on a 10 minute timer, and I generate full static pages based on article/{title}_{country_for_ads}. I cache it all into redis and s3, and then just have a gateway that chooses the right file for the right country

Makes it very, very cheap to serve effectively infinite page views

Of course, if you are being paid to do this, and they will have several people writing articles, then just go with your scaling option and wordpress or another CMS - my set up works because the articles are written by bots, don't need the whole UI/UX of the CMS for humans to update stuff

@Mehdi That could work if I only use a single column, however, each column depends on the AQI, how can I then make a relation between to maps?

1 column = 1 pair of (string, list), all columns = map<string, list>

map.put("O3", [0.1, 0.2]); map.put("Pm2.", [1, 2]);

maps are useful when you lookup by keys (column names)

hmpf... someone this project breaks the inspection for the gradle file... I do not get any warnings for outdated dependencies anymore. I only get reports of typos back. Different project and it works. It even works in another gradle file but not in the build.gradle of my app....

if I use the gradle file in a module, it works. If I use the content of a gradle file from the outside where warnings where shown, it stops working...

can someone disable inspections for a specific file?!
