@jww That's debatable, particularly for that post. It did, in fact, offer an actual answer in the post. Not a good answer, but there was one. However, my opinion on it was that the intent was entirely to promote their new blog entry, dated today. While it might have barely been an answer, it was spam with a dribble of answer sauce.

@jww I would suggest reposting this request without the closed question in the request. The problem is that the Archiver script sees a closed question in your request and assumes the request is complete. While the ROs can manually not archive it, we have to notice it each time the Archiver is run. It's almost certain that one of us will miss it and the request will be archived prior to the question being closed, or the request expiring normally.

As to telling people which question should be the dup-target, the comment on the question and that you voted to close with that question as the target should be sufficient.
