My own hometown has a nonzero number of roundabouts, which I understand is fairly unusual for an American city. Many times I have had to decide between letting someone into the circle even though they had a yield sign; or moving heedlessly forward and trusting my life to a stranger's ability to intuit never-before-seen traffic laws.

@Kevin my solution to this is to slow down and eat multiple lanes so you have an option in case that person has no idea how to handle it
