At my company (350+ people), we made a major change that prevented users from requesting 48 years of data (which they NEVER have to do, but continually do - to be fair - it was a fault in the original application, written in 1560 BC)... One user called up to complain where the "retrieve all" option had gone.

I said "If you give me a legitimate reason why you need it, then we can talk about it.". her reply? "I don't like change." I put the phone down.
