my leg hurts for two week , i can only walk on painkillers, stupid doctors are not helping me on top of that i have to go to the dentist because i lost part of my tooth..

You.. just depend on interfaces in your repository instead of concrete classes, and the mock framework can inject your mock implementations of said interfaces instead of SQL-backed ones etc.

To put it in the word of the mocking framework by Microsoft (comes with VS Enterprise):
Stubs are used to mock Interface implementations
Shims are used to mock Class implementations

Shims are very usefull if you want to ovveride a specific behaviour of code e.g. The code shall return -1 at 6 PM of the 10th of June so you could Override `DateTime.Now` to return said date.

@Mathematics If you've got acces to VS Enterprise I'd advice you to look into the mocking Framework from Microsoft, it's actualy really good IMHO.
