i dont want to keep a central server and hammer it down with all the requests. Instead, i want to establish a direct channel between the chat clients to do the file transfer.

@NiteshKatare clustered database is used. In fact the request is load balanced by a load balancing technique and then directed to a server. The server will take the data from the clustered database. They would have implemented multiple RAID techniques to withstand failures.

jQuery is calling the webmethod. I fixed the JSON format. But now it tells me that I exceed the string length

its a normal windows application with 2 forms

from one form m calling the second form's method
