What can we do - if anything - for questions like this one? It is a duplicate of another question by a colleague of OP's, but I can't VTC as dupe because the other one is on hold and doesn't have an answer anyway.

What I was getting at that if an OP post homework and then tries to take it down so they do not get caught asking for help then that is not a reason for the Q to be deleted. It punishes the answerer and on SO that who is valued the most.
