For one, one lives in the Javascript environment, one in the Python environment.

But Python dicts don't have prototypes they would delegate to, IIUC

There probably are other differences. It's unclear how much detail we should go into.

What do you think about the following situation: an user suggests an edit to remove a tag from a post about topic A, claiming that it is reserved for topic B. It turns out that the tag has no description and is actually used for topic A, B and C. Should the edit be approved because of the tag's ambiguity, or rejected because there is no consensus to warrant its removal?
