@Drew what is really nice, if you're using Spring already, is spring-jdbc. That's a very simple module that abstracts you from all the raw JDBC horrible and disgusting stuff
@Tunaki ooh yeah I'm sure, but true it was old hiberante, only the fact of doing rs.getString("columnName") instead of rs.getString(1) is a huge difference
