@FirstStep I would still tweak down the "what is it" part. People see the tag excerpt when they are composing the question; they need to figure out whether the tag applies to the product they are asking about, but it needs to be just specific enough to decide that

you don't care at that point whether it's portable to other platforms

@FirstStep I don't think you need to compiler stuff there. You can build it with any compiler it may just need more work. I would put the compiler stuff in the wiki and say these are the "supported" compilers.
